This is for my politically involved friends who might care for this:
Effective 8 January 2006 the new postage rate is 39
for standard first class mail. An increase of just
over 5%.
To commemorate this increase, the U.S. Postal Service
has created a stamp with a picture of George W. Bush
honoring his first-term achievements.
It has already been shown that the stamp is not
sticking to envelopes, enraging the President, who has
demanded a full investigation.
After a month of testing, a special presidential
commission has made the following determinations:
1. The stamp is in perfect order.
2. There is nothing wrong with the applied
adhesive.
3. People are spitting on the wrong side. |

Well...the school jig is back in session. My first 2 classes i just sat through staring idle-ly as i wished i was anywhere else. I did have a good lunch, but now im tired, and im really tempted to skip my next couple classes. Im not going to, but the temptation is still there. hearing is over. you know what i got? nothing. i wasted 10 minutes of my life sitting in the dude's office just to hear that we shouldn't associate ourselves with drinkers and to just walk away from that kind of situation. Eh. lame. well...i slept through my 10 o'clock class today. i had a stomach-ache so i kinda didn't feel up to going to class and sleeping through it there. I'll get notes from dami later. i might do something with the mentor people today. We'll see if i can work up the nerve to go there. Lata yall! |

I've been thinking lately about stuff. I've had conversations with alissa and therese about why i dont want to have my own room in the dorms, even if i find my roommate annoying at times. I also noticed last night when i left matt's house that as i got into the car, i immediately turned on some music and then called people until i got home. I must have a problem with being by myself. I wouldn't doubt it cuz my sister has that same thing, as she has since we were little kids. I wonder how i get over that uncomfortableness. I still dont have it nearly as bad as my sister, but i have noticed actions that i have taken due to the strange feeling. Does anyone else have this wierd feeling about being alone? Television seems to help as well as my ipod and radio. Anyone else feel like this or am i just strange?...eh, idk. Well, im off to chill with my buddies tonight. Lata! |

Yay. School is done for over a week! Yesterday i studied from 7 to 11, then i took a half hour break to talk about poker to some people on my floor, then i studied from 11:30 - 3, so i could get up at 8 to take the test. I learned so much yesterday that i really think my head is a little bigger than it was yesterday (still have a while to catch up to JZ though...lol). I think i did rather well on that final, not a 100% like i was hoping but probably an 85 at the lowest, which i really honestly cant complain about. um... oh, if anyone knows how to solve the equation dy / dt= 2/3 +2/(y^2), could u just let me konw. I think i got an answer, but i have no idea how to get it again, or what i did, or if i even did anything correctly. Well, I'm going to take a nap for the next few hours and then get ready to go to work. A bunch of people are coming up tomorrow to visit mary, so i may see some of them (plus i'm housing S-Jo and Katie at the apartment). Hello all. Finals are almost done. This break is going to be a must needed break. I look forward to hanging out with all my friends and getting away from amish people in my room. Actually...my roomate has been getting better, so im happy about that. I cant think of anything else to say, so im going to go and relax and then start studying for diff eq. Later all! |

Ok, i just was faced with a tough choice. I could either go to bed 2 hours earlier (12) or watch donnie darko. I chose the latter and its an awesome thing i did. Everyone needs to see that movie. I will proceed to watch it a couple more times, but i thought it was remarkably done. Well, off to try to trick my brain that i got more sleep that i actually will be getting. Good Night All |

Hello everyone. Im just chillin in my room because im done with classes at 12 today and i am off of work, so i really have nothing to do. School is pretty good...and i start my new schedule in a couple weeks. Fridays off will be nice. I got my buddy tom a job at mo's so it'll be cool to work with someone i know and just have a good time chillin with someone. not to mention that my hours will be cuz which is completely awesome. ok...first of all...bob is the only one who commented on muse/kane. And bob's loved kane ever since i introduced it to him after Moonlight Rising. Let me know people...i wanna get good music into the hands of all!
Next, i was thinking while i was just in the shower. The first thing to cross my mind is this question. When do most people shower? I wanna know if people are morning, afternoon or night showerers and why they like that pick. I enjoy afternoon showers because then im clean for whatever i plan on doing after school work is done (whether that be hanging with people or going to work), and i dont feel i need to take an extra amount of time in the morning (when i could be sleeping) to make sure i look good for class...at which there is no one i need or care to impress. the second question i pose to you i thought of also while in the shower. Can a bar of soap be dirty? Someone left a brand new bar of soap in the showers and it crossed my mind as i looked at my remaining shreds of what used to be a bar that it would save me a dollar if i just took it. I rationalized to myself that i could rinse the outer layer of soap off, leaving me a totally clean bar of soap. I didn't do it, but does this make sense to anyone else? Well, i hope that this post will initiate some conversations about something other than baseball (allthough all that is good too john and wayne). Have a good day everyone. |

Ok...i just woke up so i have to write this dream down before i forget it...cuz it was pretty cool...at least to me. Well, i had a ring that was very similar to my class ring, but i believe that the stone was orange or a color like that. This ring was a magic ring, and with it, i could open up a portal to enter a different dimension. Now, i did not know this about this ring, but i will find out later on. If you know my house, then you know the trainstation that is right down the street, and this next part takes place there, although it is not a trainstation, but a store. In the store, we were shooting a Kevin Smith movie, and after a couple takes, Ben Affleck kept messing up his lines, so Smith decided to drop it all-together. I walked over and for some reason, i punched him as hard as i could ( i dont remember if this is because it was part of the skit or not ) and he flew backwards through the glass. I went back to my house and was absolutely misaerable because one of my friends died...i dont remember who, and the rest of my friends were like a mess in their lives. A local wizard in the movie came up to me and talked to me and i found out that he was a true wizard. He told me about the ring i had and how i could use it when i said a statement, which i have now forgetten...but i remember it was about 6 lines long....and kinda sounded like the apostles creed. I entered into a new time where i was again in the movie and played a different part. The movie was again cancelled and i remember feeling dejavu, cuz i didnt remember the portal thingy. I however did remember soon as i saw how similar it was to what i was used to but how different at the same time. Because of how wierd this was, i used it again...this time without bringing the paper that held the statement and i found myself in a mall. A lot of people i knew were there and my one friend who died was also there. I felt that this was awesome, so i stayed here for a little while. However, i got in trouble for something and ended up being chased by a bunch of people. So i had to disguise myself in the mall and try to get to a computer somewhere so i could google the statement and use it. I wasn't able to, but i did find that wizard who recognized the stone and he told me he would help me. I explained my story to tabout 6 people and they all went to work on building an ampliflyer for this stone so it would work without the statement. The amplifier turned out to be a hemlmet...and then i remember opening the back of the helmet to see several layers, ...the inner most one which was black metal and shaped into vines and an old looking mystic door. I remembered this door upon seeing it as the door i entered as i went though the portal. I dont remember from this part if i used that stone again, but i do believe that i did. I remember now that i was in a field with someone the age of a grandparent, although i dont remember who they were, but i know i felt comfortable with them. We fought off some things and everyone thought i was a hero with my shiny gold hemlet. I then discovered that we were inside somewhere and i looked outside to see what i would call a ....PHOENIX..thats what it was...there were 3 birds flying outside, and i asked what they were and the people looked at me like i was stupid and told me that they were phoenix'es. I chose this as the dimension that i would remain in.
After this, i moved onto having other dreams, and im not sure if they connected to this, but i think that this sounds like a good ending if i could choose to end a dream.
Sorry if you are upset at me for taking up too much space. I just thought this was the best dream i have ever had and needed to share it. |
